Hello, I’m Maggie

My passion for teaching ESL began in 2008 when I tutored a community college student from Ethiopia. This experience helped me realize that teaching ESL was the best job ever, and I needed to learn more. I started an MA TESOL program the next fall and learned as much as I could about TESOL Methodology and Second Language Acquisition. I then taught for a year at a university in Mexico, and then landed a full-time ESL teaching position at an American university where I taught for over a decade.   These days, I’m busy chasing around my young children, teaching adult ESL full time at a local college, and creating ESL teaching resources on TpT!
